Hello everyone! Summer is slowly coming to an end, which means the Pitches are getting ready to to get things up and running again! A quick summer recap:
- Our podcast, Tiger on the Block, has been regularly releasing episodes! Check out the full playlist here.
- Our debut album, Made to Fly, has been reviewed by RARB (Recorded A Cappella Review Board) and we are proud to announce our 4.3 rating! Read the full review here.
- Our song "God is a woman" (opb. Ariana Grande) is featured on the Voices Only 2020 compilation album! Check it (and other amazing songs from other a cappella groups) out here.
- The UCLA a cappella community now has a website! If you want to learn about all the amazing groups our school has to offer (including yours truly), all the information has been nicely consolidated in one place. Special thanks to Kay Sibal from Scattertones for putting it all together! Check it out here.
Of course, with the school year starting up again, so are auditions! If you love to sing, and are a current or incoming UCLA student, you should definitely consider becoming a part of the Pitch, Please family. We can't wait to meet each and every one of you this fall! This year has been a crazy one, but nonetheless, we still have a bunch of amazing things planned that we can't wait to share with you all. Here's to yet another exciting, music-filled year!
